Jake was my brother and he was much loved by his parents, siblings, wife and children. For years he struggled to beat his heroin addiction with the help of his family and friends but did not succeed in the end. He managed to be rid of his addiction for a number of years and got married and had his lovely girl and boy. Jake was a great person to be around and everybody loved him, and he never hurt anyone despite his illness. Life is so hard without him and there is no getting used to him not being here with us.
I only hope you are at peace now jake as you suffered endlessly trying to stay clean for years on end. I pray that you can see down on us all and watch over us and your kids Hanna, Maria and Demetri especially. RIP my loving brother xxx
